The holiday season brings such wonderful events and a festive vibe that invites you to celebrate! It might be your favorite time of year (it's certainly mine) and I hope you'll enjoy every minute of it. After all, it's over before you know it, and it only comes once a year.

In this video I'm sharing my Top Nutrition Tips for Navigating The Holidays so you can enjoy them and succeed.

I'll teach you how to set yourself up for success when arriving at gatherings, and what to do (and not to do) the day after some splurge-y drinking or eating.

You'll know the best ways to have fun, indulge (a bit), and feel good about every decision so you can keep moving towards your goals, and avoid the dreaded feeling of "day after guilt."

Feeling bad or guilty after a day of indulgent eating does no good. Forgive yourself, move on, and identify ways you can do it better next time.

Rather than winging it through the holidays (and risking being unhappy in January), I encourage you to make some choices, create a game plan, and set yourself up for success before events and parties.

A very common misunderstanding is that in order to reach your goals you must be 100% on point, “perfect” all the time with absolutely no deviations from a clean and rigid diet.

And I can promise you that’s simply not true.

It’s not what you do on one particular day that matters. It’s what you do on a regular basis that creates the body and health you want.

After this episode, you’ll be armed with powerful strategies for enjoying a cocktail (or two) and not regretting it, eating special holiday treats and staying on track with body composition goals.

When you’re strategic most days, you can indulge a bit each week.

In this episode you’ll learn…

  • Exactly what to do before you arrive at a dinner party or event
  • What to eat to stabilize blood sugar so you avoid inaccurate hunger and food cravings
  • A fun drinking game you can play that ends with you feeling great (not drunk and hungover)
  • The exact foods to seek out at special meals and events
  • What to avoid the day after a particularly “splurge-y” meal

The truth is, you can enjoy your favorite foods without guilt when you’re strategic in how and when you eat them.

Stay strong, friend.
