Let’s Talk About Depression – Part 2 of 3
Oct 23, 2017If you have been with me for a while, you may have noticed that I’ve been slowly mentioning the topic of depression. I have finally arrived at a place where I am willing to share more with you on this topic.
Depression in its many forms is still something that many of us don’t talk about. And yet, I know how many women it is affecting because I get the phone calls from you every week.
This is the second in a three-part series about my journey with depression and the helpful things I’ve learned along the way that may help you as well. This week I’ll be talking about some considerations around nutrition and biology to keep in mind.
There are many shades of the blues, moods and emotions that get lumped together into the topic of depression. If you’re really struggling and in a bad place, please seek the support of a loved one or trusted professional.
My intention in this three-part series is to share a bit about my own personal journey, the things I’ve learned, and some general tips that I believe can help you too if you find yourself in the same boat.
Also, be sure to check out the other two parts in this series. Last week I talked about exercise considerations (check it out HERE) and next week I’ll be talking about the mind and emotions.
