5 Ways to Relieve Digestive Problems

If you have a digestive complaint, you have a digestion problem.

In this episode of Hot Tea with Holly I’m sharing 5 things you can do with your nutrition to alleviate most digestive issues including gas, bloating, stomach pain, constipation, and more.

In the 30 years that I’ve been coaching women, I’ve noticed that digestive complaints are increasing to an alarming frequency. It seems that nearly every client of mine has issues to one degree or another.

 

My rule is: If you have any digestive complaints at all, it’s time to troubleshoot and optimize your nutrition. 

A healthy digestive system should be able to process a meal with little to no abdominal distention (bloating) or change in physical well being. For example, if you feel terrible after eating, you most certainly ate something that doesn’t agree with your body.

Constipation and gas are clear signals that there is an imbalance in the chemical reaction happening in your body after eating. Think back to high school chemistry. Remember how gas is produced when two reactants are combined? It’s the same in your digestive system.

If your body doesn’t like the combination of “reactants”, you’re going to have some kind of reaction inside of your body.
