3 Steps to Ensure Your Best Workout
Jul 03, 2017As a fitness coach and personal trainer, I always tell my clients:
Prepare and behave as if you are a professional athlete. Approach your fitness and nutrition like you imagine a professional athlete does. You may not be a pro athlete, but why not treat yourself like one?
If you approach your workouts and eating with the seriousness of an athlete, you are a million times more likely to get great results, as compared to if you allow yourself the common excuses of the common person…right?
Do you imagine that Serena Williams skips a meal before practice? Do you think she would “grab something convenient” to eat on her way to a strength workout? Gosh no. Every detail of her strength and conditioning programming is spelled out and specific. And that’s why she’s a queen.
I realize that the stakes are much higher for Serena, and that you don’t have to take the same steps in order to make progress in your own fitness. However, what’s the harm in adopting some habits as if you are Serena Williams?
Today’s video is all about 3 specific action steps you can take to ensure that you get a fantastic and effective workout every time.
