What to do when you don’t have time for your workout

HP Dec 8 Header 2

When you are truly committed to taking action on something, there is nothing that will keep you from your goal. Everything standing in your way is simply an excuse.

This is the time of year when most people allow their fitness to slip. There are truly many excuses that can keep you from your workout…if you are not truly committed to your fitness goals.

You have a choice.

Let this year be the year when you don’t allow yourself to slack on your fitness goals. You can get everything done for the holidays if you prioritize and strategize a bit. Also, you’ve got to be willing to call yourself out when you allow an excuse to keep you from your workout.

“I can’t work out today because I’m hung over from last night’s holiday party and I have to get my holiday cards in the mail.”

While this feels like legit reason, it’s really not.

When you are committed to something whole-heartedly, NOTHING will stand in your way.

Alternatively, I do the following three moves in my living room when I am out of time but want to do something. It’s cool because you can simply keep repeating the circuit for the exact amount of time that you have.

Complete 15 reps of these three moves. Rest one minute, then repeat for as many circuits as your time allows:

  1. Prisoner Squats
  2. Push Ups
  3. Bicycle Abs
