Sports Supplements 101 FOR WOMEN

I have wanted to talk about this topic for, oh… about 10 years. I held off for so long because I know that “sports supplements” is territory that is a bit scary for non-professional, fitness enthusiasts like us.

Outside of the circles of collegiate and professional sports – and fitness pro’s like me – sports supplements tend to get a bad rap.

I think it’s because they have crazy names like “beta alanine”, and therefore most people think, “Ooooo, that sounds scary because I can’t pronounce it!”

The truth is, beta-Alanine is an amino acid! It’s in the foods that you eat every single day!

And guess what? That really scary one “Creatine” is too! While this one isn’t an actual amino acid, it is in any animal meat that you eat, and is naturally produced inside of your own body from other amino acids.

We know that the 20 amino acids are incredibly important because they are literally, the building blocks of your body. 10 of them must be ingested from foods because your body cannot produce them.

There are three very simple sports supplements that were pivotal in my body and health transformation over the years, and especially around the age of 40.

Please click on the video image below to learn about these three performance enhancers.

Check out this week’s video below for more thoughts on this!

PS! I reserve exclusive content just for the members of my Inner Circle email update list. If you’d like to get more inside tips from me on health, fitness and weight loss that aren’t shared here on the Blog, you can sign up at the top right side of this page! It’s free.

As always, I’d love to hear from you. What sports supplements are you using? Or, which of these sparked your curiosity? Please share your thoughts in the Comments section below!
