Can you believe that February is upon us? What!? Yes.
I know, I’m shocked too. I realize this might be a bit painful, but I’m going to ask the question,
How are your 2018 New Year’s resolutions going?
Personally, I’m right on track and deeply happy about it. Listen, it didn’t happen easily. In fact, when the last round of The Comeback ended I started floundering. I got off track in December and found myself feeling like poop in January.
Thankfully, I had a talkin’ to with myself and was able to get back on track January 1st when we started the Macros 101 Challenge. And this, my friend, is the first insight into how I keep myself accountable.
I enlist the help of other people.
I knew that if I offered the Macros 101 Challenge to you (and the rest of the world), I’d be forced to show up and do it myself. And that’s exactly what happened.
As I sit here and write this today, I am deeply, profoundly, thrilled with “where” my body is. Because I wrangled myself on January 1st and tightened up my diet (using my approach to macro-eating) my energy is through the roof, my workouts are off the charts, my muscle is coming back, and my Abs are showing! I am very pleased with my progress.
I didn’t do it alone. YOU helped me.
YOU kept me accountable. I knew that you would be watching, and I knew that I had to show up for you. This is one of my absolutely best ways to keep myself accountable. I enlist the help of other people (even if they are silently watching).
